Bergen Catholic Participates in Edmund Rice Day of Service

ORADELL, NJ, March 13, 2024 – Bergen Catholic helped participate in the 2024 Edmund Rice Day of Service alongside three other Edmund Rice Christian Brothers schools: All Hallows, Iona Prep and Vancouver College on Thursday afternoon in New York. Crusader students spent the day at Joyce Kilmer Park in the Bronx, New York working with Bronx is Blooming, an organization that tends to parks in the borough of the Bronx.

The BC contingent helped prepare 40 trees for the spring & summers season, helping to complete a task that normally requires 3 days but only took 3 hours thanks to the student-volunteers. Following the day of service at Joyce Kilmer Park, the Bergen Catholic students visited All Hallows High School for a prayer service and had lunch with their fellow Edmund Rice schools.
