On May 13, 2026, more than 100 Edmund Rice Educators and Youth Ambassadors from across the Global Network gathered on Zoom for the annual Global Justice Meet in recognition of Founder’s Day. During the call, student Youth Ambassadors from more than 12 countries shared the amazing work they have been engaged in to protect and advocate for human rights in their communities across the world. ERI’s staff and board members also led a training session on increasing school engagement with the U.N.’s Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process.
