Small Group Retreats

These retreats are offered for small groups consisting of 10 – 15 students and are especially designed for those who are seeking to engage in their spiritual journey.

Ecology Retreat

The Ecology Retreat experience is held at Jericho House, Wainfleet, ON and is based on Pope Francis’ encyclical “Laudato Si”. The retreat offers participants the opportunity to experience Jericho’s nature academy featuring Carolinian Forest, Wainfleet Quarry and Wetlands, and Lake Erie. Retreatants also seek fossils, observe wildlife, and discuss how nature can be a pathway to deepening one’s relationship with oneself, others, and God.

Social Justice Day

This retreat experience is a day of dialogue with a marginalized person(s). The participants have the opportunity to meet, discuss, and share stories with homeless persons, street youth, or refugees.

Prayer Reflection Day

This retreat presents the participant with a number of prayer forms for the spiritual journey: examination of consciousness, mediation, discernment, Lexio Divina, Gospel Sharing and prayer in the style of Taize. The day would involve input, experience, and discussion.
