Since 2017, Iona Prep’s Human Rights Club has creatively sponsored Saint Mary's School in Bloemfontein, South Africa. Though various fundraisers and other projects, Iona Prep has raised funds and supplies to support the tuition and uniform fees of 20 students at St. Mary’s. The Human Rights Club at Iona has also raised money that has helped fund the cost of iPads, furniture and classroom renovations at St. Mary’s. Students at Iona Prep continued their annual Beyond Borders fundraiser to support St. Mary’s on October 19th.

The Congregation of Edmund Rice Christian Brothers continue their tradition to include the names of individuals requested by the faithful for them to remember, in a special way, individuals they wish to enroll in the Brothers’ All Souls Remembrance. They will include these intentions in their prayers for the month of November.
