Br. Chapman’s paintings, chosen from 650 entries, offer profound reflections drawing from his exploration of spirituality and cosmic dimensions. The exhibition, titled “In Memory of Me,” will feature several of his pieces, notably including “Your Heavenly Word Came Down” and “Last Supper,” among others from sacred artists across the nation

As a former artist in residence at Iona, many of Br. Chapman’s works are on display throughout the New Rochelle campus and are occasionally featured in exhibits at the Br. Kenneth Chapman Gallery of the JoAnn Mazzella Murphy '98H Arts Center on North Avenue.

Inspired by Pope Francis’s recent writings and insights from the Jesuit paleontologist and mystic, Teilhard De Chardin, S.J., Br. Chapman’s artwork embodies a lifetime of contemplative thought and artistic expression.
