The Black Catholic Community of the Archdiocese of New York will celebrate Black History Month with a "Pilgrimage of Courageous Hope" by having a Mass celebrating Black History at different parishes every Sunday in February. Please join the pilgrimage, in this Jubilee Year, by visiting the various parishes each week.
The attached flyer lists the upcoming Masses, for your convenience, and to share with your network / parish community. ALL ARE WELCOME, so we look forward to seeing you!
- Sunday, February 2 @ 2:00 PM – Church of St. Joseph & St. Boniface (Spring Valley, NY)
- Sunday, February 9 @ 1:00 PM – Church of the Holy Rosary – Nativity of Our Blessed Lady ( Bronx, NY)
- Sunday, February 16 @ 10:00 AM – Parish of St. Charles Borromeo, Resurrection & All Saints (Harlem, NY)
- Sunday, February 23 @ 3:00 PM – St. Luke's Church (Bronx, NY)
As a reminder, the National Day of Prayer for the African American & African Family is the first Sunday, February 2, we encourage all parishes to recognize this day as we jump start our pilgrimage.

The Archdiocese of Newark, also invites you to join them on Sunday, February 16th at 2:30pm as they celebrate Black History Month with a Jubilee Mass. Cardinal Wilton D. Gregory, Archbishop of Washington, D.C. will be the Guest Homilist. (Flyer attached)
