Click here for read moreIn November and December of 2025, ERCBNA Schools participated in the 2nd annual Edmund Rice Global Week of Action on Homelessness. This campaign invites ERCBNA schools and their communities to dedicate a week to build awareness, take action, and advocate to end homelessness.
During the 2024-2025 academic year, Iona Prep students Matty Zimmerman, Daniel Resua, and Lucius LoCicero, served as Iona Prep’s ACTION Youth Ambassadors under the guidance of Iona Prep teacher and ACTION Moderator, Christine Chana. Last year, their outstanding efforts on advocacy campaigns surrounding homelessness, children’s concerns and chronic illness, and environmental concerns helped to earn them the 2024-2025 Tom Gambardella ACTION Advocacy Award.
For the 2nd consecutive year, Iona University students will be spending their semester interning at the United Nations in New York City. Ian, Laila, and Kaelen are enrolled in an Independent Study Program at Iona that gives them access to the UN properties by means of an Edmund Rice International affiliation. Each received accreditation with the UN Economic and Social Council via a Grounds Pass to allow ease of access to the working areas of delegate conference halls . The students are enrolled
