2021 ERCBNA Advocacy Workshop

On September 30, staff members and advocacy coordinators from ERCB Schools in the U.S., Canada and Peru joined together via Google Meet for the 2021 ERCBNA Advocacy Workshop. This annual workshop brings together staff members from ERCBNA Schools to discuss advocacy initiatives in our schools and to promote advocacy efforts for human rights and social justice concerns for the upcoming school year.

This year, the ERCBNA Advocacy Office is encouraging schools to raise awareness of and encourage advocacy efforts surrounding Restorative Justice and Climate Action. We thank the many ERCBNA staff members who joined the call and for their efforts in promoting advocacy initiatives grounded in the Charism of Edmund Rice. We’d also like to thank in a special way the members of the Edmund Rice Network in Peru who joined the call and shared their perspectives, experiences and knowledge around advocacy.

The ERCBNA Advocacy Office and Defensoría Edmund Rice (The Edmund Rice Office for Advocacy in Latin America) are planning to coordinate a number of joint, bilingual sessions on advocacy in the future.
