October 4 marks the conclusion of the 2022 SEASON OF CREATION. The feast of St. Francis of Assisi calls for continuing celebration of the wonders of the planet we share with all God’s creatures.

LAUDATO SI : Br. C. Michael Valdes, CFC*, presents a watercolor of St. Francis of Assisi. It is framed by one of Br. Peter O’Loughlin’s Christmas Castus plants, blooming in anticipation of the October feast.

Some very popular Saints are celebrated in the month of October including St. Thérèse, the Little Flower, St. Teresa of Avila, St. John Paul II, as well as St. Francis. The entire month is dedicated to the Holy Rosary. The Edmund Rice Christian Brothers website offers images and reflections to assist our engagement in these blest practices.
